Frankie's on the Park welcomes Girl 360 and America's Next Top Model Contestant!!! (October 25, 2009)

In conjunction with Girl 360 (www.girl360.net) we are co-hosting an inspiring conversation, live concert and fashion show on Sunday, October 25th from 11:00 - 1:00pm at Frankie's on the Park!!! The day will feature models from Frankie's and the one and only, Sarah VonderHaar, singer, songwriter and contestant on America's Next Top Model.

You will have a chance to hear first hand from Sarah about her life and blending her love of fashion with her incredible musical talents. After the fashion show and concert the kids will have a chance to model (with tips from Sarah) and be photographed for the Frankie's on the Park online store!

Belle Center of Chicago presents A Fall Fashion Show! (October 4, 2009)

Frankie's on the Park and the Belle Center of Chicago (www.bellecenter-chicago.org) will come to together to support the Center's mission to promote the rights and expectations of all children to be fully included in the community. The Belle Center provides a progressive, family-centered approach to education and community life that supports children with disabilities and their families. The Fall Fashion Show will star family and friends of the Belle Center providing a venue for all the kids taking part in the special day to shine!

Come Celebrate the Sweetness of Summer!

Along with Booksisters in conjunction with Literature For All of Us, Frankie's on the Park will host an evening of books, banter and bubbly. The evening will feature powerful and inspiring teen poetry readings. 10% of the evenings sales and 25% of all Booksisters merchandise will be donated to Literature for All of Us! A great evening will be had by all in attendance.

University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital – Welcome Reception for David Gozal, M.D. (April 16, 2009)

In keeping with our ongoing commitment to “Frankie’s Kids for Kids,” Frankie’s on the Park is pleased to be co-hosting a welcome reception for David Gozal, M.D., the new Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Comer Children’s Hospital on Thursday, April 16th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Dr. Gozal comes to University of Louisville and is an expert in the treatment of pediatric sleep disorders. Frankie’s on the Park is thrilled to help welcome Dr. Gozal to Chicago and will donate 10% of the proceeds of all sales during the event to Comer Children’s Hospital. Camp Event (April 4, 2009)

Frankie's On The Park is your go-to for great camp merchandise!  We have converted a large portion of our first floor to our seasonal camp store!!!  It is full of great merchandise that you can personalize!  Camp merchandise includes tee shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, hats, blankets, shorts, clipboards, stationary, towels, laundry bags, pillow cases, tattoos, jewelry, body paint and much more!!!  We have finalized arrangements with the following camps: Agawak, Birch Trail, Chippewa Ranch Camp, Horseshoe, Kawaga, Lake Of The Woods, The Glen, Camp Nicolet, Marimeta, Nebagamon, North Star, Ojibwa and Thunderbird and you can personalize items with camp names and logos!  In continuing with our commitment to the community, a portion of proceeds from the sales of the day will be donated to Camp For All Kids, an organization that has been sending under-served kids to camp for the past 12 years!

Our airbrush artist will be available in the store from 10:00 - 6:00pm on Saturday, April 4th so be sure to get here early!!!!  Airbrushing costs start at $18 per airbrush design in addition to the cost of the item you would like to airbrush.  You are welcome to bring your own items to be airbrushed for a $5 fee.  There are a number of designs to choose from or you can completely customize what you would like the artist to do!  Get creative!!!

From 10:00 - 1:00pm we will be hosting a camp themed brunch, come enjoy bug juice, and enter to win some amazing raffle prizes!  Special gifts will be given out in the morning!
