Frankie’s on the Park opened its doors in 2008, in a sparkling new building in the heart of Chicago’s bustling Lincoln Park neighborhood. Founders Lisa Rolfe Burik and Mary DeRose Carter saw a void in the marketplace for hip and trendy fashion for tweens, teens and women offered in a boutique setting. Inspired by Lisa’s then-thirteen-year-old daughter “Frankie”, Lisa and Mary set out to create a warm, inviting place where girls of all ages could express their individuality through fashion. With this vision, Frankie’s on the Park has quickly become “the” destination for current and future fashionistas to define their own style, incorporating the must-have items of every season as well as high-quality basics to carry them through the year. With a special focus on dressing for special occasions (Bat Mitzvahs, Graduations, dances, etc.), we make sure that every girl feels special for her big day! To top it off, Frankie’s on the Park girls get a chance to show the world their style through weekly “Girl of the Week” modeling sessions featured on frankiesonthepark.com.
Everyone feels welcome at Frankies; our sales associates/stylists provide the friendliest, most personalized service to each and every girl and our customer loyalty program is second to none, offering amazing perks and promotions through the year. Personal shopping, semi-custom dress designs through our exclusive 4th Charm Dress Collection and make your own t-shirts at our one-of-a-kind Graffiti Bar are just a few more things that make Frankie’s on the Park the ultimate shopping destination for tweens, teens and beyond!
Since its opening in 2008, Frankie’s has had a pop-up store in the iconic Water Tower Place on Chicago’s famed Magnificant Mile and an ever-growing online store at frankiesonthepark.com, to be able to serve budding fashionistas everywhere 24/7! Additionally, Frankie’s is commited to giving back to the community and regularly hosts events benefitting kids-related charities, including Comer Children’s Hospital, La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Literature for All of Us, Camp for All Kids, CURE Epilepsy, Wolcott School and many, many more! We are always looking for worthy organizations to support, so let us know if you have an organization you would like us to support!
In summary, our customers say it best...
“Happiness is having a tween daughter to shop with! Thanks to Frankie’s on the Park – the shopping experience is a two-fold treat - something for her, something for me. I appreciate the carefully selected age appropriate tween and teen fashions – not too “racy,” yet enough to thrill my daughter’s budding sense of fashion independence. We are shoppers on a budget – and the staff is genuinely personable and eager to help - no pretense – a refreshing boutique shopping experience. Five Stars for Frankie’s!”
